Job Description:

Indotronix International Corporation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for planning, laying out, testing, troubleshooting, modifying, repairing, and refurbishing complex precision mechanical devices, systems, subsystems, mechanisms, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, test, adjust, and certify basic to complex assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and systems for compliance with specifications and quality assurance practices.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, corrosion control, and general refurbishment of a wide variety of instrumentation equipment and subcomponents.
  • Repair basic to complex malfunctions by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, or modifying circuitry and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
  • Utilize equipment requiring interpretation of data to troubleshoot, debug, and perform routine measurements on mechanical assemblies, sub-systems, and/or systems.
  • Use micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools to ensure products meet in-process and final tolerances.
  • Operate standard machine shop equipment to construct, rebuild, or repair metal/mechanical parts and equipment.
  • Set up standard test apparatus and conduct operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model.
  • Install equipment field changes, assemble, and/or modify wires, insulation, and components using hand and power tools.
  • Compile, compute, analyze, interpret, and present a wide variety of engineering data as required.
  • Preview designs or specifications for completeness, accuracy, adequacy, and compliance with company and/or customer specifications.
  • Develop and/or prepare schematics, designs, specifications, test procedures, parts lists, etc.
  • Issue complete or partial kits to meet delivery requirements of ongoing contracts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Military Tech School
  • Four years of related experience on the below
  • Must have experience adjusting, calibrating, aligning, or modifying circuitry and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
  • Plans, lays out, tests, troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and refurbishes complex precision mechanical devices, systems, subsystems, mechanisms, and controls.
  • Works under the general direction of supervisor, senior technicians, or engineering personnel, in research, design, development, and manufacturing environments.
  • Work may be performed locally or on business travel.
