Position Overview

The University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry to join our faculty team. As a tenure-track position, this role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in organic chemistry, including lectures and laboratories
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field. Previous experience teaching organic chemistry and mentoring research at the undergraduate level is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to innovative and inclusive teaching, as well as a willingness to engage in professional development to improve teaching and mentorship skills.
