Job Summary

The University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Criminal Justice Professor. This is a tenure-track position that requires a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a variety of courses in the School of Criminal Justice, including introductory undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and program revisions.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field.
  • Strong teaching and research skills, with a commitment to excellence in both areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • Experience with curriculum development and program revisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with online teaching and learning platforms.
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience with grant writing and research funding.
