Bright Sky Recruiting is seeking a committed Project Manager/Estimator to oversee projects in the metal fabrication sector. This position requires managing structural steel initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed with precision, within budget, and on schedule. Candidates with a background in project management and estimation in metal fabrication are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and production teams, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for engineering projects, taking into account materials, labor, and time.
- Analyze structural steel drawings to accurately determine project requirements.
- Uphold a high standard of safety, organization, and meticulousness throughout all stages of the project.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as an estimator in metal fabrication; 5 years of project management experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong multitasking capabilities to manage several projects at once.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Self-driven and quick to learn.
