Job Overview

RPM Development Group is seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor District Managers and Property Managers to ensure they are operating within budget and maintaining a high level of curb appeal.
  • Complete and review annual budgets with Property Managers, providing guidance to ensure properties are operating within budget and reviewing variances monthly.
  • Act as a liaison between Property Managers and Leasing Managers on new lease-ups, assisting in coordinating marketing and reporting to government agencies as needed.
  • Work with Facilities Manager to propose and oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring properties are maintained to RPM standards and preventive maintenance initiatives are completed timely and within budget.
  • Perform other duties as needed to advance the goals of the company.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen with an understanding of budgets, operating statements, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of project-based section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and other subsidized housing programs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisive business decisions as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Regional/District Manager and 5+ years of prior residential on-site management experience.
  • Knowledge of both affordable housing and market-rate housing.
  • Technology literacy and a solid understanding of operating software, Yardi experience preferred.
  • Industry training credentials authenticating understanding of rental housing programs.
  • Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
