Job Title: Field Service Calibration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Calibration Technician to join our team at Aldinger Co. in the Tri-Cities area of Washington.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate and timely calibrations on a wide variety of equipment at customer sites. This includes balances, scales, pH meters, autoclaves, ovens/furnaces, refrigerators/freezers, moisture analyzers, temperature devices, refractometers, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, centrifuges, fume hoods, and spectrometers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and complex calibrations per company processes, instructions, and documentation.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience with an Electronics background.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Calibrations experience.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Experience working with Balances and Scales.
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of ISO 17025.
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields.
  • Technical Degree or Certificate.
  • Military PMEL Training.
  • Experience with IndySoft.
