Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Business Service Officer I (Specialist) is responsible for facilitating the complete day-to-day operations of the Central Receiving Loading Dock and three off-site warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the complete day-to-day operations of the Central Receiving Loading Dock and three off-site warehouses.
  • Work closely with a team in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of business processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives.
Working Conditions:
  • This position is not eligible for telework and works onsite at the Sacramento, CA Headquarters five weekdays.
  • Work in a high-rise building.
  • Work in a warehouse setting with a moderate noise level and varying temperatures.
  • Work with and/or move heavy objects.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, bending, stooping, or kneeling.
  • Must possess a valid Class C, California Driver's License.
Special Requirements:
  • The position(s) require(s) a valid California Driver's License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
Minimum Qualifications:

All experience and education relating to the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) listed on the Classification Specification should be included in your application package to clearly demonstrate how you meet the MQs for this position.
