About this Opportunity:

As a Billing Specialist at Orion, you will play a crucial role in setting up contracts and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients. This position will collaborate closely with operations to resolve escalated client cases and internal requests from various departments. You will work on projects that involve improving legacy processes, implementing new billing procedures, and customizing processes to meet the needs of new business partners through mergers and acquisitions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for external billing at Orion/Redtail
  • Respond promptly to internal questions regarding invoices
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and implement solutions
  • Document, maintain, and implement operating policies and best practices
  • Lead internal efficiency projects and process innovation for the Billing team
  • Provide second-tier support and perform cross-checks and approvals
  • Resolve and answer complex billing-related issues and questions
  • Prepare documents for annual audit
  • Assist in training and education of new Billing team members

We're Looking for Talent Who:

  • Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Has a minimum of 1 year of experience within the financial services industry working in Accounting or Billing
  • Obtains Orion Industry Certification
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range: $19.78 - $28.30

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
