Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is part of The Resource Group's Strategic Sourcing Solution, which is focused on contracting for supplies and services that align with the needs identified by caregivers. The responsibilities for this role include:
- Collaborating with Contract Design teams to develop negotiation strategies for various categories.
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms to mitigate risks for all healthcare stakeholders.
- Ensuring that sourcing strategies and supply chain processes are consistently applied and compliant with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Managing contract maintenance tasks, including amendments and product adjustments.
- Analyzing sourcing data, market trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with Finance, Corporate Risk, Legal, and other relevant teams through effective communication and timely updates on critical business matters.
- Providing regular insights on category strategies and supplier relationship management initiatives, including performance metrics and process improvement status.
- Overseeing Sourcing Agent resources through work assignments, evaluations, and coaching.
- Reviewing financial analyses and market share evaluations to maximize program benefits for stakeholders.
- Representing The Resource Group in engagements with the supplier community.
Education:
- High School diploma with 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR 7 years of applicable job-specific experience required.
- Preferred: 3 years of leadership or management experience.
