As an Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and clinical training to surgeons, operating room staff, dealers, and internal employees on the approved use and application of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical training, education, and ongoing clinical support to ensure seamless product adoption.
  • Offer on-site and remote clinical application support to customers, providing scientific and technical information on approved use of medical devices.
  • Collaborate with Technical Service Engineers and Sales teams to support new installations, site support, and troubleshooting.
  • Attend medical congresses, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, and wet-labs to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Refer inquiries related to unapproved uses of technologies and provide support to related departments on Adverse Events Reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in a scientific discipline (Medicine, medical science) required.
  • Ophthalmology or engineering educational background, with a strong understanding of cataract surgery.
  • 2+ years of ophthalmology/medical device experience in clinical, sales, or marketing roles, with on-the-job training of application preferred.
