Critical Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a Critical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Trauma Med Surg unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and mobility.
- Perform technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Assist with admission, transfers, and discharges of patients to and from the unit.
- Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program.
- Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited RN program.
- 1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification.
Our Trauma Med Surg unit is a 23-bed medical surgical/telemetry unit specializing in the care of traumatically injured patients. We are committed to providing exceptional care and a supportive work environment for our team members.
