Critical Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team in the Trauma Surgical ICU at Cooper University Health Care. As a Critical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and mobility and transport.
- Perform technical duties as directed by the Registered Nurse, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care.
- Identify and communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse and respond appropriately.
- Reinforce education of patients and families/responsible parties regarding individual care needs and safety issues.
- Participate in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals, and assist in the performance improvement activities.
- Active EMT certification
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
- High School/GED
- AHA Basic Life Support certification
