We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at Cooper University Health Care. As a Critical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining high standards of professional ethics.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform technical duties as directed by Registered Nurses, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, and point-of-care testing.
- Identify and communicate changes in patient status to the RN and respond accordingly.
- Reinforce patient education and safety initiatives to promote positive outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
