Job Title: Social Services Programs Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Services Programs Supervisor to join our team at St. Louis County, MO. As a key member of our Human Services Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the County Older Resident Programs and supervising a team of Field Service Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Field Service Coordinators
  • Provide oversight for County Older Resident Programs
  • Maintain records on staff and volunteers
  • Deliver presentations to community groups on topics relevant to older adults
  • Coordinate special projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or related field
  • Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current, valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Supervisory experience
  • Public speaking experience
Benefits:

St. Louis County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid medical insurance, 20 days of PTO (paid time off) the first year, and 11 paid holidays. Employees hired for full-time employment will participate in the St. Louis County retirement plan, where they contribute 4% of their salary to the defined benefit plan with vesting after 7 years.

In addition to these benefits, St. Louis County offers up to 480 hours of paid parental leave for eligible employees welcoming new children, either by birth or adoption. The employee can also take up to 80 hours of leave for prenatal care and up to 80 hours for care of the child within the first year.
