Job Description

Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a three-year pilot program to create a new state-wide service delivery model of Community Justice Workers. The successful candidate will facilitate strategic planning, daily oversight, and delivery of assigned project task efforts for the project's lifecycle.

The Community Justice Project Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated effectively. This position requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage the planning and execution of the project scope within the three-year project plan.
  2. Develop and establish project goals and objectives consistent with the project's strategic plan.
  3. Liaise between project partners, teams, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
  4. Develop and maintain a detailed project chart utilizing appropriate tools to plan project timelines, manage deadlines, track progress against project milestones, and identify issues that need to be addressed.
  5. Prepare project reports for regular communication with stakeholders, including delivering presentations to funders and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Project Management, Business, or other related field of study, and a minimum of five years of project management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or other related field of study, and bilingualism in Spanish.
