  • Conduct daily verification and reconciliation of all dispatched vehicles against system records.
  • Review and report on any missing documentation to management on a daily basis.
  • Resolve discrepancies within a 48-hour timeframe.
  • Review, correct, approve, and export documented errors promptly.
  • Generate daily reports comparing requested versus actual vehicle dispatches for management review.
  • Prepare weekly trucking analysis to assess performance and identify issues.
  • Review, reconcile, and approve invoices as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance for transportation providers.
  • Communicate essential information such as schedules and work orders to drivers and supervisors.

Engage with managers and supervisors to address any issues related to requests or dispatches.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date dispatch software data, including pricing, units of measure, locations, and other critical data points.

Position Requirements

Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer technology and the ability to learn company-specific software and access GPS tracking systems.

Analytical Thinking: Capability to assess situations such as unexpected road closures and make informed decisions.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate with drivers, customers, and vendors, recognizing that not all parties may share the same objectives.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the transportation sector, including relevant laws and regulations, is essential for success in this role.
