Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware, software systems, label printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Deliver technical assistance to end-users by efficiently resolving hardware and software challenges.
- Provide tier 1 network support and diagnostics.
- Establish and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Assist in the setup and upkeep of network printers and other peripheral devices.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our internal applications and engage in feature modifications, escalations, and testing.
- Collaborate with the IT department to identify and implement enhancements and system upgrades.
- Oversee and maintain inventory of IT assets and supplies.
- Document and revise IT protocols and troubleshooting manuals.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding IT security and data protection.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an IT Desktop Support Technician or in a comparable role.
- Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Strong diagnostic skills for hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support capacity.
