About the Role

Join a dynamic team at RTX, where innovation and collaboration drive success. As an Aftermarket Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines that push the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to integrate new processes and improve existing ones.
  • Implement process improvements to establish world-class repair processes.
  • Lead the deployment of our continuous improvement operating system, CORE, across facilities and become a certified CORE Apprentice.
  • Evaluate tooling and fixtures, inspection processes, and automated processes to ensure suitability.
  • Apply continuous improvement and root cause analysis to prescribe corrective action.
  • Maintain standards for product inspection, process certification, Lean manufacturing, and regulatory and industry standards.
About the Program

The Aftermarket Development Program is a two-year rotational program designed to provide real-world and classroom technical training to high-potential engineers. You will work on challenging projects across the enterprise, rotating through three eight-month assignments within domestic overhaul and component repair facilities.

Through this program, you will develop a solid knowledge base of aftermarket engineering and our products, as well as gain exposure to a vast range of networking and leadership opportunities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
  • Preferred qualifications include a minimum GPA of 3.0, previous co-op or internship experience, intermediate to advanced proficiency in project management, and intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
What We Offer

At RTX, we offer a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $103,000, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

Additionally, you may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
