Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at The Travelers Indemnity Company. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced software solutions to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop complex software systems, including architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, working with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement fixes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our software solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in C# and experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of database design and query optimization.
- Experience with Automation Anywhere and RPA, with a strong understanding of process automation and workflow optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
