Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at The Travelers Companies, Inc. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards for quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
