LPN Corrections Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Genie Healthcare. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to healthcare protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient assessments and document patient symptoms, progress, and concerns
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations
- Provide wound care, dressings, and sterile processing as needed
- Administer injections and immunizations as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Must have a valid state LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
- Proficient in administering medications
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
