Academic Affairs and Curriculum Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Affairs and Curriculum Coordinator to join our team at the University of New England. This role will provide administrative coordination and support for key administrative functions in the College of Dental Medicine Office of Academic Affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for faculty and students, programs and services, and other key administrative functions that promote the College's academic mission.
- Maintain a database of all students enrolled, track and monitor student academic progress, and coordinate submission of necessary documentation to the Registrar.
- Assist with the creation of academic schedules and calendars, manage course evaluations, and distribute surveys to collect data.
- Collect and aggregate academic data, prepare reports for the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Academic Affairs Committee, and Dean.
- Provide back-up support for electronic assessment creation and maintenance of the Learning Management System.
- Assist with on-boarding of new faculty and staff, as needed.
- Support the accreditation process and site visits.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in higher education or medical/dental administration.
- Previous experience in organizing and maintaining complex filing and record-keeping systems consistent with FERPA.
- Strong computer skills and extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and other programs.
- Excellent oral, written, reading, and spelling/grammar skills.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Evidence of flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills.
