Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving service sales processes, generating service sales opportunities, and securing profitable sales within designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Penetrate into Installed Base, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
- Understand channel strategy and establish related prices, preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plans when needed.
- Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and identifying potential new service portfolios.
- Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or utility sales role).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience (experience in a Sales, Field Services, or a Marketing role involved with customer development in a pre-order role is preferred).
- Experience in selling products and services associated with electrical power studies, switchgear, drives, motors, and transformers is preferred.
