Project Manager

Turner Mining Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our construction projects in the Naples area.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of our construction-management projects. This role requires strong business management acumen, leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, working closely with Superintendents to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct constructability reviews and collaborate with Estimators to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project logistics.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings with Owners and Engineers to establish project goals and milestones, and monitor project development to ensure it stays within budget and schedule.
  • Review and approve subcontractor drafts, ensuring compliance with company standards and contract terms.
  • Staff projects effectively, assigning responsibilities to project team members and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Manage project budgets, preparing schedules of values and implementing billing processes in accordance with company guidelines and contract terms.
  • Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Prepare and submit Change Order Requests to Owners, reviewing and approving Owner Change Orders and updating Job Cost Budgets as needed.
  • Monitor project progress, holding regular status meetings with subcontractors and addressing any delays or cost impacts.
  • Assist the company in marketing and business development efforts, identifying potential project opportunities and advising management on strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment, mentoring team members and promoting a culture of injury prevention.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work efficiently with computer systems.
  • Thorough understanding of the construction industry, including project specifications and blueprints.
  • Experience with project estimation and contract management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
