Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our sports facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of supplies and equipment, including ordering and stocking as needed.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist with budgeting and financial management, including tracking expenses and preparing reports.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, evaluating, and disciplining as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or related degree/certificate in a field such as facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field, including experience with sports facilities.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and vendors. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification, with the ability to obtain other certifications as required.
Working Conditions

The Facilities Director will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental hazards. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and navigate around the facility for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic Understanding of Sports: A basic understanding of sports and sports facilities, including knowledge of playing surfaces, equipment, and rules.
