Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Alumaweld Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong dealer relationships, generating sales orders, and providing exceptional customer service to our dealers and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers in your assigned territory, ensuring sales stability and growth.
  • Sales Order Generation: Generate sales orders for each dealer in the network, providing open order reports and product availability information.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Continuously analyze market data to develop sales forecasts and measure dealer/brand performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to identify open markets and key new dealer targets, and provide regular updates on territory performance.
  • Customer Feedback and Service: Provide customer/market feedback to the National Sales Manager and offer exceptional customer service to all dealers and retail customers.
  • Travel and Retail Boat Shows: Travel to dealerships and participate in retail boat shows as directed by the National Sales Manager, maintaining a minimum travel requirement of 1.5 weeks or as directed.
Key Accountabilities
  • Meeting Sales Targets: Meet annual sales targets and contribute to the growth of the sales team.
  • Customer/Dealer Feedback: Convey customer/dealer feedback internally to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
  • Dealer Relationship Maintenance: Maintain positive relationships with dealers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of the boat industry and its trends.
  • Boat Product Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of boat products and their features.
  • Dealer Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with each dealership's operations and needs.
  • Competencies: Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, analysis, and reasoning skills, as well as a strong sense of ethics.
