Safety Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team at Orion Talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and subcontractors on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety programs for electrical installations
  • Conduct regular construction site and safety audits to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Provide safety-related training to project leadership personnel and oversee adherence to construction safety norms
  • Collaborate with Safety Directors, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents to develop and implement site-specific safety programs
  • Assist with administration duties such as preparing Jobsite Safety Analysis, Jobsite Hazard Analysis, and preparation of safety reports

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of construction safety work experience and electrical safety
  • Minimum OSHA 510 and 3+ years of data center construction experience is preferred
  • Must be familiar with NFPA 70E Electrical Safety (Standard for Electrical Safety)
