Job Responsibilities
  • Floater Educators should possess a 2-year associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of documented teaching experience in a licensed environment.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and co-teachers to ensure the educational and developmental needs of students are met through effective planning, implementation, and ongoing assessment.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and guidelines, including sanitation and nutrition regulations.
  • Full-time staff typically work between 30-40 hours weekly, with many opting for a 4-day workweek.
Preferred QualificationsCertifications/Education:
  • NC B-K Initial License
  • NC Lateral Entry B-K License
  • NC Residency B-K License
Experience:
  • Preferred experience in licensed childcare settings.
Skills and Abilities
  • Establish strong, communication-based relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
