Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with ECU Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the assessment of patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and participating in educational programs to enhance your professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Participate in the assessment of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
- Attend educational programs and staff orientation to promote professional development.
- Develop leadership skills within the LPN scope of practice.
- Participate in the Service Excellence Program.
- LPN Diploma
- Active NC LPN License or compact state
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice
