Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be at the forefront of patient communications, developing relationships with customers and advocating for their wellbeing. You will be empowered to share your clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license. This role requires a strong passion for community involvement and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
