**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Service Exam Typist/Office Specialist I to join our team at Ontario County. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in local government and have excellent administrative skills.
**Compensation & Benefits**
The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
**Job Description**
As a Civil Service Exam Typist/Office Specialist I, you will be responsible for performing various clerical tasks, including typing, filing, and data entry. You will also assist with correspondence, reports, and other administrative duties.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical experience that involved typing. An advanced education degree may also be substituted for these requirements.
**Residency Requirements**
Candidates must have been legal residents of Ontario, Livingston, Monroe, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, or Yates County for at least one month immediately preceding the examination date.
