Overview

Spectrum, a leading provider of telecommunications services, is seeking an experienced Business Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You will be expected to develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales and revenue goals through successful prospecting for new customers and the sale of bundled services.
  • Territory Planning: Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.
  • Customer Service: Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge, practicing sales techniques regularly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities using Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; knowledge of communications technologies and services.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.

Salary and Benefits
