About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the plasma donation process.

As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our donors, answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing them with a positive and welcoming experience. You will also be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording their vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.

Additionally, you will work closely with our Plasma Center Manager to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures. You will also be responsible for working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure that our donors receive the best possible service.

What You Will Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as the ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift. You will also need to be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and have the ability to lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 32 pounds and rarely 50 pounds.

You will also need to have fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance. Due to the potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, you will need to wear gloves for prolonged periods. A minimum of one year of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We understand that compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.00, and U.S.-based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
