About the Role

FMS is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting our customers with their medical debt and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize various collection strategies to negotiate best possible payment terms and methods with customers.
  • Overcome objections and suggest money sources for debt payment.
  • Utilize payment options and secure this information to process payments.
  • Perform proper consumer verification procedures as dictated by company policy and client requirements.
  • Accurately document account notes with outcome of call, account disposition, payment arrangements, and content of communication.
  • Adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, HIPAA, and all other relevant federal and state laws.
Requirements
  • $12.00 – $14.00 Base Hourly - Depending on experience
  • Potential for significant monthly commission bonus once transitioned out on to the call floor
