Position Title: Radiologic Technology - Adjunct Professor

Department: Radiologic Technology
Division: Technology & Health
Compensation: $93 per hour (based on lecture hour equivalent)

Overview:
This is a temporary, hourly position that operates on an as-needed basis.

This recruitment is aimed at creating a pool of candidates for part-time, temporary assignments. Departments will refer to this pool to fill positions as the need arises. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews as required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare thoroughly for all instructional assignments.
2. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance expertise in subject matter and teaching methodologies.
3. Employ effective teaching strategies to improve student learning, critical thinking, and performance skills.
4. Collaborate with department leadership and colleagues on curricular and educational initiatives.
5. Deliver accurate content in alignment with the established course outline.
6. Maintain ethical standards in interactions with students and peers.
7. Ensure punctuality and regular attendance at all scheduled classes.

Minimum Qualifications:
A. One of the following qualifications from a regionally accredited institution:
  1. Any bachelor's degree or higher with 2 years of professional experience; OR
  2. Any associate's degree with 6 years of professional experience; OR
  3. Equivalent qualifications (equivalency review required); OR
  4. California Community College credential, 'Valid for Life' (must submit a copy with application).

B. A commitment to the community college mission of providing quality educational programs and services for a diverse student population, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Conditions of Employment:
Presence on campus is required to fulfill essential duties.

Foreign Transcripts:
Transcripts from outside the United States must include a course-by-course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified evaluation service.
