Job Overview

CTR Group is currently in search of a Project Scheduler specializing in Government Construction, located in the Charleston, SC area. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Control Analyst IV will oversee scheduling, forecasting, and cost management for the company's projects.

  • Formulate and execute cost control protocols, documentation, and tools to bolster project budget oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, Contracts Directors, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party consultants to develop and implement project schedules, cost-loaded planning, and schedules of values for clients and subcontractors.

Facilitate the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the procurement of all services and materials aligns with the schedule, while promptly identifying and addressing any concerns or delays to minimize schedule disruptions, including recovery planning when necessary.

  • Accountable for comprehensive cost control tracking of the project (time, labor, materials, subcontractors, etc.) concerning the schedule of values and payment releases.
  • Manage multiple projects, including those for commercial and government clients.
  • Tasked with generating estimates at completion and providing input for the company's annual financial planning and quarterly financial forecast updates.
  • Reports directly to the CFO while providing support to the program management teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a construction project scheduler utilizing Microsoft Project on at least two comparable projects.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Capable of executing Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and other contractual scheduling tools.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proven aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with minimal supervision required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of confidentiality.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience with U.S. Government construction projects.
  • Experience in design/build projects.
