Builders Capital is seeking a Financing Specialist in the construction sector who possesses experience in construction financing. Your Role

As a Financing Specialist, you will leverage your knowledge in construction finance to collaborate with builders, developers, investors, and brokers across various channels. You will have the freedom to expand your business portfolio without being confined to specific sales territories or channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales by structuring and originating a variety of residential loan types, including ground-up construction loans, bridge loans, and multifamily loans.
  • Build and nurture relationships with builders, subcontractors, architects, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to enhance the company’s presence and reputation.
  • Assess borrower needs for each project, structure suitable loans in accordance with established guidelines, and maintain communication with borrowers throughout the loan process.
  • Collaborate with an in-house support team to manage the loan process from documentation to closing.
  • Maintain relationships with borrowers post-closing to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Utilize a CRM system to manage client information effectively.
  • Provide expert consultation on loan structures and borrower qualifications.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan that encompasses all aspects of loan origination, including customer service and marketing strategies.
  • Lead transactions by coordinating with all involved parties and forecasting sales results for leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction finance, with a strong understanding of residential or commercial mortgage financing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to client satisfaction.
