This position is ideal for an experienced individual with a robust background in initiating and overseeing commercial construction projects. Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise all on-site construction operations for commercial projects with budgets exceeding $7 million.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure adherence to project schedules and financial plans.
- Guarantee that all work is executed to the utmost standards of quality and safety, complying with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with the project management team, providing consistent updates on project status, obstacles, and resolutions.
- Conduct routine site evaluations to track progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other essential stakeholders to ensure the project objectives are achieved.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects with budgets of $7 million or greater.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively guide and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
