Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the production department, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, select, orient, train, develop, and performance manage production department, warehouse, and shipping employees to maintain adequate staff levels.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze and evaluate business procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement policies and procedures that enhance day-to-day operations.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are shipped on time, while promoting and monitoring quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP of Finance and President to develop and coordinate manufacturing capital plans, budgets, and forecasts to achieve financial objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of related experience, with 5 or more years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Certifications: Lean manufacturing certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal relationship, managerial, and diplomacy skills.
