Job Summary

Bridges Core Service Agency, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our mental health programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical operations and a passion for delivering high-quality care to our clients.

The Clinical Director will be responsible for providing professional direction, supervision, and coordination for designated area mental health programs. This includes implementing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and overseeing the implementation of best practice and emerging practice protocols.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate Level in a licensed discipline category, such as Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of clinical managers and direct care staff.

The Clinical Director will be responsible for ensuring all treatment protocols are being followed appropriately, and that diagnostic intakes, assessments, and treatment plans are being completed and billed correctly. They will also be responsible for assigning or reassigning new consumers to a clinical team that will best fit their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health regulations and policies, and will be able to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other mental health agencies and collaterals to solve day-to-day problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all therapeutic services delivered by the agency
  • Ensure all treatment protocols are being followed appropriately
  • Assign or reassign new consumers to a clinical team that will best fit their needs
  • Implement best practice and emerging practice protocols
  • Review service quality and collaborate with the quality assurance team
  • Design, coordinate, and implement in-house staff training as per DBH contract
  • Assure compliance to all applicable rules, regulations, and policy
  • Directs and participates in policy and program implementation and assure all deadlines are met
  • Directs and participates in all clinical audits, including Federal and District Agencies
  • Assists with personnel performance reviews in accordance with personnel policy and procedures
  • Provides training, motivation, goal setting, and supervision to therapists and counselors
  • Directs the implementation of approved clinical procedures to achieve maximum productivity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
  • Participates in designated meetings at DBH and those in the community as requested by the executive team
  • Work with other mental health agencies and collaterals to solve day-to-day problems regarding clients and/or their families
  • Makes on-site supervisory visits as well as field observations and complete required documentation
  • Audits consumer records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide on-call support to both field and administrative staff
