Overview

The Bilingual Cleaning Team Leader is responsible for guiding new team members in mastering the Merry Maids cleaning methodologies and utilizing our specialized products and tools effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Punctually report to work dressed in the complete uniform.
  2. Present and discuss training and safety video materials with each new team member.
  3. Exhibit proper cleaning techniques in real-time to each new team member.
  4. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are utilized correctly.
  5. Evaluate each area post-cleaning by the new team member, providing constructive feedback and demonstrating corrections as needed.
  6. Guide team members in completing service reports accurately and ensure they are properly signed.
  7. Review daily maintenance of vacuum equipment.
  8. Instruct new team members on how to replenish cleaning supplies at the end of their shifts.
  9. Showcase effective cleaning practices to team members in the field.
  10. Conduct daily evaluations with the franchise owner or manager.
  11. Engage with customers for proactive quality assurance checks to confirm adherence to procedures.
  12. Participate in ride-alongs or inspections as directed by management.
  13. Assist management with the Quarterly Scorecard Bonus.
  14. Handle applicant responses and schedule interviews with suitable candidates.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Step in to cover for team members or captains when necessary.
  2. Contribute to maintaining a tidy and welcoming office environment.
  3. Consistently foster a positive workplace atmosphere and support the overall team effort.
  4. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned or requested.
Supervisory Role

Oversee field and support personnel.

Essential Qualifications
  1. Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
  2. Ability to read English at an average adult level.
  3. Proficient in writing clear English.
Special Requirements
  1. Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for travel between job sites.
  2. Ability to handle regular exposure to pet hair, dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning agents.
  3. Capability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  4. Willingness to clean hard surface floors on hands and knees.
