Job Overview

The role involves ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the physician's medical office. Responsibilities encompass appointment scheduling, patient registration, telephone management, medical record handling, billing, and collections. Additionally, the position requires coordination and engagement in various tasks related to daily clinic operations, including patient identification, check-in/check-out processes, charge posting, cash management, and appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage message distribution.
  • Coordinate ancillary scheduling and preparation.
  • Oversee referrals management.

Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting; or a Certified Nursing Assistant; or successful completion of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program at an accredited institution; or EMT or Paramedic certification; or a Bachelor's degree.

Physical Demands:

The position requires the ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking frequently. Additional physical requirements include the ability to climb stairs, work indoors, and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Candidates must possess good finger dexterity and the ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. unassisted.
