Role Responsibilities:
The F-35 Training and Logistics division is currently navigating a pivotal phase, concentrating on key objectives such as air system alignment, product relevance, operational excellence in sustainment, and fostering an engaged team.
We are seeking a Senior Manager for New Business & Strategy (NB&S), who will report directly to the Vice President of F-35 Training and Logistics.Key Duties:
- Lead the F-35 Training and Logistics Market Segment in pursuing new business opportunities and enhancing contract growth.
- Direct the market segment's technological advancements, align product roadmaps, and spearhead modernization initiatives to meet strategic goals and support customer missions.
- Collaborate with various teams including LM RMS, Aero business development, program management offices, and international teams to ensure cohesive efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with JPO Training and Simulation Systems PMO, as well as US and international service representatives.
- Oversee customer engagement, manage new business fund (NBF) initiatives, and ensure alignment across development, production, and sustainment activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful strategies and business pursuits.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Background in aerospace business development.
- Strong Full Spectrum Leadership qualities and behaviors.
- Eligibility for security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the F-35 air system program.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Business Unit.
- Knowledge of Military Training Trends.
- Military pilot or maintainer experience.
- International military aerospace industry exposure.
- Experience in Capture Management.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be US Citizens for consideration.
Remote Work: This role includes part-time remote work, with specific schedules discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Options: Lockheed Martin offers a variety of flexible work schedules, including condensed workweeks, providing additional time away from the office alongside paid time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.
