Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to advance the strategic and business planning objectives of the Hematology Oncology service line, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement systems to support effective operations of ambulatory, inpatient, and BMT services, ensuring quality of patient care and integration with hospital goals and vision.
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis: Develop and track key productivity, operational, financial, and patient engagement metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing countermeasures to optimize performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with site administrative and physician leaders, as well as cross-campus teams, to drive standardization, integration, and margin enhancement.
  • Charge Capture and Revenue Integrity: Monitor and report on charge capture and delays, denial management, and chart closure, developing and implementing required countermeasures to optimize financial performance.
  • Patient Access and Experience: Collaborate with site administrative leaders and clinical teams to enhance patient access and experience, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal care delivery.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and rollout of new productivity and management tools, ensuring end-user training and effective implementation.
  • Customer Service and Nemours True North Metrics: Promote patient and family-centric customer service, working collaboratively with chairs, chiefs, and statewide administrative leaders to identify goals, trends, and countermeasures aimed at achieving targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of healthcare administration experience; three (3) years preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of progressively responsible administrative experience in healthcare, preferably pediatric or specialty related.
  • Experience in ambulatory care programs preferred.
  • Experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT/Infusion service operations or administration preferred.
  • Experience in physician practice management preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare management preferred.
