Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at HCLTech. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and shipping high volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital electronics, RF, audio, video, power, electromechanical, low power, charging, touch display, and sensors.
  • Architecture and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-speed serial busses (PCIe, DP, USB4, Thunderbolt, MIPI) and high-speed parallel busses such as memory bus (DDR4/5, etc.).
  • Signal Integrity and Layout: Ensure high-speed digital design, signal integrity, layout, and power distribution techniques are applied to modern processors.
  • Problem Solving and Debugging: Utilize strong problem-solving and debugging skills to resolve complex technical issues, with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware design and development.
