Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Calibration Technician with extensive experience in the electronics testing and measurement field. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our calibration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct calibrations on advanced and specialized test and measurement instruments.
  • Utilize your expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and calibration to address unique equipment challenges.
  • Engage with clients to assess their requirements regarding traceability and the adequacy of standards and testing procedures.
  • Oversee the timely preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in managing technician workloads in the absence of the Laboratory Manager.
  • Perform daily inspections of incoming equipment to ensure completeness and functionality.
Qualifications
  • Military calibration training and experience (PMEL or TMDE) or an Associate's Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in calibrating test and measurement equipment within a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
  • Proficiency in calibrating various types of Test & Measurement Equipment, including Electrical/Electronics - DC/low.
  • Familiarity with Network Analyzers.
  • Strong understanding of microwave and RF principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience calibrating EMI receivers, power sensors, LISN, and CDN.
  • Knowledge of test codes such as the IEC-61000 series.
