Job Overview

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional solutions to our clients, and we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Calibration Technician with extensive experience in the electronics testing and measurement domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calibrations on advanced and specialized test and measurement instruments.
  • Utilize your troubleshooting and calibration expertise to address unique equipment challenges.
  • Engage with clients to assess their requirements regarding traceability and the adequacy of standards and testing procedures.
  • Oversee the preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in managing the workload distribution among technicians in the absence of the Laboratory Manager.
  • Perform daily inspections of incoming equipment to confirm the availability of accessories and manuals, and identify any malfunctions.

Qualifications:

  • Military calibration training and experience (PMEL or TMDE) or an Associate's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in calibrating test and measurement equipment within a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
  • Proficiency in calibrating various types of Test & Measurement Equipment, particularly in Electrical/Electronics - DC/low.
  • Familiarity with Network Analyzers and a solid understanding of microwave and RF principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize workload efficiently.

Preferred Experience:

  • Calibration of EMI receivers, power sensors, LISN, and CDN.
  • Knowledge of test codes such as the IEC-61000 series.
