Job Title: Instructional Educator

Elevated Education LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Educator to join our team at the North Phoenix Learning Center.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director, the Instructional Educator will assist students in mastering the objectives of the Arizona Department of Education Standards to prepare them for further education and/or employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with computer-based classes, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
  • Mentor students, in-person and virtually, enrolled in the dropout recovery program, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Lead Teacher to maintain accurate progress reports and grades, ensuring timely and effective communication with students and parents.
  • Communicate student progress with family/guardians, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Assist with administrative processes, ensuring compliance with state requirements and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Coordinate testing efforts for benchmarking and all other state testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and accreditation process, contributing to the growth and development of the organization.
  • Attend all staff meetings, professional development activities, and serve on staff committees as required, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.
  • Strive to maintain and improve professional competence through professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
  • Assist with community outreach, student recruitment, and student retention efforts, helping to build strong relationships with the community and promote the organization's mission.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • One (1) year prior work experience working with high school students, demonstrating a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Any combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • AZ DPS Fingerprint and Background Clearance Card, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching Certificate, demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Two (2) years prior work experience as an Instructional Educator, providing a strong foundation in instructional design and delivery.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), enabling effective communication with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in Mathematics or English Language Arts, providing a strong foundation in subject matter expertise.
Compensation:

Yearly Salary, competitive and commensurate with experience.
