Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit and Course Planning, the Degree Audit Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of the University's degree audit reporting system. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality Academic Advising/Degree Audit services for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map, build, and maintain degree programs and requirements in the Academic Advisement module of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
  • Train and guide end users in the use of the degree audit system and in the resolution of problems and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit and Course Planning to ensure accurate and timely degree audit reporting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for degree audit processes and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in academic advising or student information systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or similar student information systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience with Oracle Campus Solutions Academic Advisement Module or similar student information systems.
