Clinical Territory Manager for Diabetes

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Territory Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a Clinical Territory Manager, you will be responsible for educating patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals about the importance of intensive management of patients with diabetes using Medtronic Diabetes products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals about Medtronic Diabetes products and their benefits.
  • Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop and implement territory growth strategies.
  • Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues related to Medtronic products and therapy.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in assessing and managing patient therapy to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Consult and present to individuals and groups on behalf of Medtronic Diabetes.
  • Plan, organize, and manage assignments within allotted budgets.
  • Travel in assigned territories on a regular basis and attend seminars, symposiums, and special events as directed.
  • Collaborate with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience.
  • Participate in ongoing competency development through various mediums, including in-person and web-based training.

Requirements:

  • A valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Physicians Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Pharmacist.
  • Associates and 4 years of clinical experience, or Bachelor's with 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
